Cancer affects everything, the patient, family, and loved ones too. The impact of having cancer isn’t just a physical one, by offering emotional and holistic support to 1000s of clients over more than 20 years, the centre has become a place of sanctuary to so many.
All support is designed to help manage the effects that your hospital treatments has had, both physically and psychologically. Offering 121 therapies as well as group sessions and workshops means there is something for everyone.
Founded in 2001, Cancer Support Centre has been a place of sanctuary and support where everyone is welcome.
The Centre relies almost entirely on fundraising through self run events and by those run by supporters to provide all the services and support to clients.
We are always open any offers to run events to raise funds for the Centre. If you need any help to publicise events then just ask in the office.
Having a very close family and friends, I really didn’t think I needed to be in a “cancer group” as I thought it would be depressing and just not for me!
But how wrong could of been. I will never be able to thank everyone enough for how the CSC has helped me get back my life, the ladies I have met and the stories we have shared!
