About our cause
The Cancer Support Centre is a small local charity based in Sutton Coldfield but supporting adults affected by cancer in the West Midlands.
The hospitals look after the clinical needs and treatments of the body, but we look after the mind and the spirit – the emotional and psychological support that is really important to managing and coping and being the best you can be whatever the situation or prognosis.
We provide a safe place of sanctuary and support for all whose lives are affected by cancer including families and carers, helping them to take back control, building back confidence and self esteem and empowering them to move forward.
We are an entirely self-funded charity needing to raise in excess of £100k every year. The pandemic curtailed many fundraising activities, as well as our ability to provide the services that we used to.
We are rebuilding our service and we need your help to raise the funds we need to be able to make a real difference to our clients.
