This really helpful session was recorded !   it was designed to provide insight into medical law in the context of cancer care and treatment.

Jenna says

“We hope this will be a useful resource for everyone at the Cancer Support Centre.

During the session, we discuss what medical negligence is and the types of cases that may give rise to a claim, the complaints processes available, the legal test, stages of an investigation, how compensation is quantified, funding options available, limitation periods and the importance of statutory time limits for bringing a claim.

The session also includes a number of real-life case studies, demonstrating how we’ve supported clients and their families through the claims process.
